i can 0603 all day tho

you cant even reliably inspect 0603 without a microscope
hot air blows them away

we did some local PCBA, and an 0603 was placed like .001 off the pad
by eye, it looked fine, microscope you could see there was no fillet at all
our assembler uses paste for assembly, i dont think she does for rework
i dont use it
shit like ssop and fine pitch qfp, i will just flood and wick, never had problems
